2016 and 2017 have been busy. It started with moving my studio to the 7th Floor in October then cleaning and reorganizing the studio. I’m still in the Livestock Exchange Building in Kansas City’s - Livestock District, but now I'm in a space that has heat and air-conditioning, a big benefit during the Summer and winter months. I'm no longer working in Lacquer. There are a few of the “Iron Deposits on Stones” pieces left; if you are interested contact Leawood Fine Art. I began a series of paintings that was inspired by local gardens, arboretums, beaches and ocean waves. I'm painting in an impasto technique right now becuse I love the textures and abstract color combinations that are a result of this style The paintings can be seen online, in my studio or at Leawod Fine Art. The studio is open by appointment.
